weber dmtr carb onto 1.1?

i've been offered a weber DMTR with a polo gk inlet manifold, some jets, manifold adaptor and airbox adaptor all from a 1.3 mk2 polo.

my main question is, will the gk manifold fit and is the carb ok to use with my engine?

also how much would you think all this is worth?

i would suggest you go have a look on the club polo forum as their has been alot written about this conversion, theirs even a sticky on the engine section.
the gk manifold is from the rare mk2 polo gt(they were not sold in uk)(gk is the engine code) it flows better, bigger runners. this engine however was a hydraulic tappet head and so used a water heated inlet manifold and is different to the exhaust heated manifold that you will have fitted to your engine. the gk will not fit your engine, sorry! however the carb is a great upgrade to the pooberg just a case of rejetting and playing around with adaptors. value? no idea.
