Stop solenoid on 1.1

Hi
How do you test the fuel cut solenoid off mounted in the carb to see if it working as done everything else can think of but it still won't tick over

Have tested solenoid as per last post all working ok though no feed to it when ignition on, also no reversing lights now.
Electrics not my best subject.
Another question is on the side of the carb there are two screws one for idle and one for mixture can any body tell me which one is which i.e large for idle or not

Hi mate
The small screw is mixture and the big one is idle speed.
The solenoid cut off valve cuts off the fuel when the engine is stopped without it the engine could run with the ignition off if the engine is hot.
Have you try cleaning the jets and checked the float needle valve.

Thanks for the reply have checked jets etc etc al clean if i put 12v live to stop solenoid it runs a treat but theres no feed to it when ignition on have checked all the fuses are good and clean.
Stil got no feed to the reversing light switch on gear box as well.
Have an auto electrican booked for this week will let you know how it goes.
