Squeeky noise !

Ok i hope i can explain this so everyone can understand !

The noise started ever since the timing has been done, when you rev, it goes , on tickover the noise starts, almost like a dry joint squeek sound ??? or 2 belts rubbing together ( thats the best i can explain it) might put up a video later on you tube with link .

Checked the alternator belt and thats not loose or tight and cambelt has just been done and the tension is also fine.

You cant really hear it when driving but when stationary in traffic it annoys the hell out of me

Cam pulley rubbing on the guard?

No, i tried that, had it running without the cover  :roll:

was the waterpump replaced as well, perhaps the bearings in it are going?

sure its not rubbing on the inner covers? cant remember what the belt cover configuration is on the 1.3?

I take it you've tried with the alternator belt removed to rule that out?

Sorted ! was rubbing on inner cover ! cheers
