solex 31 pict 7 carb on 1.3 driver '83 ??

been have trouble starting me 1.3 driver , plugs always black/sooty etc …so looking at the carb thats on it - solex 31 pict 7  is this the right one for my engine ??

i think drivers should have 34 PICT's on them i think ?

thats what mines got anyway.
