Smoking, oil leak?
Did a oil change today, and after that its started smoking, check the airbox its filled with a shit load of oil
clean it put back on, go for a 1min drive, as soon as its heavily accelerated smoke plumes from it, check airbox when home filled with oil again so iv e come to the conclusion that
The separator before breather pipe is broke, allowing oil to follow the air up into the airbox which is then drawn into the engine via the carb and suction this then gets burnt in the cylinder creating the smoke im having
ive figured that by following an old post from 2005 but now im wondering how i actually replace this part
ie where is it for one, how do i get it out, do i need to drain oil?
then what part number it is, as i cant find it for the life and day of me on gsf, then how to fit it without damaging the part or engine
pictures/guides would be helpful
Thanks Luke

I can assure its emptied about half a litre out with its problem and burnt/split it

Theres fumes coming from the breather and oil when revved a little high
No smoke other than the normal shizz from the exhaust, so i take it thats a good sign
So would you suggest its the oil seperator?
ill still replace that even if the problem persists as its cheaper than whipping a new engine in it, as if its piston rings, stem seals not repairing them, ill salvage what i can from this block put a new block in and make some money back :/
Thats the idea i have anyway

Then get a 3 litre container and fill it with the oil from the 5 litre of drained oil
then measure out an additional .5 (half) litre to top up with

Ive been suggested the engine is shot, but still im going to try the oil seperator next week, as if its that then ive saved like near £100 that id need to get a new engine bought and delivered
Also think the oil buzzer is that common problem thing, so going to get some gauges and earth the buzzer and light out therefore shorting it
Willl et you know how it goes

Why not just fix it?
I recently had various lights flickering on the dash and relays buzzing/ticking along with various electrics not working, I replaced the fuse box with one from GSF and everything now works perfect.
Before botching any wiring in or cutting any out, check the condition of your fuse box.
