polo gt conversion

i bet u are gettig sick ot talking about this.  i have a 1100 golf and i want more power .  i only have a budget and i am wondering what would be the minimum that i would need to change and add to cary this conversion  out.  I would use my old gear box and i would stil use a carb of some sort cos fuel injection sounds too nuch like hard work.  Cheers phil.

Yeah - which isn't relevant to the GT 3F engine as it's a hydraulic head.
