oil in radiator , ohh o.

satday nyt cruisin about in the 1300 driver, coolant spilling everywhere, poped the bonnet, and the hose from the block to the heater matrix had poped.
so put a new one on, blead the cooling system, and filled it back up. only then to discover little bits of whitey oil in the filler on the radiator.
so am thinking head gasket, and is it an easy job, am just 17, worried about timing and what not when putting it all back.
new gasket set and head skimmed?

quite an easy job on a 1.3,get head skimmed, also check to see if theres any physical break in the gasket when its off,if theres no sign of gasket failiure it could be a cracked head, most likley its just the gasket, the timing is easy, the only thing is the water pump has to be turned to adjust the belt tension so its a good time to knock it out and replace it,as they never seem to turn after 20 years
