NEED SOME HELP GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FEW ISSUES

Right fellas i have a 84 Golf driver, and have a few issues with certain things. The first being that when i push the clutch pedal in to put it into first i hear a very slight whirring noise. Could it be something to do with my driveshafts or could it be a worn out with the clutch release bearing.

Secondly i noticed that when i had the car jacked up without wheels on the front with the gears in neutral. one of the hubs was very very slowly turning. any ideas??

it does sound like your thrust bearing wirring a bit, i wouldnt worry too much myself. as for the wheel turning when in nuetrel - ive noticed that myself on a couple of cars in the past and its never been a bother! unless someone can tell us both different….
