Hydrualic head on solid lifter block?

Is it possible and is there any advantage to putting a later hydrualic lifter head on an engine with a solid lifter head on at the moment?

I have a head from a damaged 1990mk2 1300 .

Would I need a different Dizzy? anything else different?

There would be little advantage in fitting a hydrualic head other than lower maintenence, The fitting of pointless ignition.
My preference would be a complete (HK) engine. MK2 Polo electronic ignition, Retain the exhaust manifold for easy fitment.
PS the early block is Known to be weak.
