Help

ive got a 1.1 and theres a prob - the car wont start first time it take three with the choke out and foot on the gas, when it does strat it only works for 1min then cuts out, theres fuel in the tank but some times it wont start unless there a full tank. ive changed the cam belt because i thought the timing would be out but it still does it. wen i do start it and run it for a bit it will just cut out randomly and not start for ages. i do have a pire carb but i was wondering if theres any thing els that might be a problem,
also what is the section connected to the dippstick beacuse its leaking water from it? its a project and tryn to get it going with out any experince is very hard lol cheers for reading  

could be worth cheaking the fuel tank for rust

and also change the pick up filter in the tank and in the engine bay

have you any picture of the water leak as i'm a bit unsure where you mean

The dipstick comes up past the water pump, which you will of had to move when you did the cambelt. Probably should have been renewed as well :wink:

If you haven't set it back square when the belt was tensioned it will leak. It may also go loose suddenly, and nuke your engine.
