Gasket for Solex 34 PICT-6

Anyone know where i can get one from, its on my mk1 golf, 1.3 driver engine, its not the rubber seal at the bottom that mounts it to the mani its the gasket where the carb splits in half. My garage has tried to get one and they cant find one anywhere! Any help would be very gratefully appreciated  :). Cheeeeeers :D

if you've got the old one you could get some gasket paper, draw round the old and cut out the new. :)

or send it me and i'll cut one out for you. :)

i bought some gasket paper from ebay and used a craft knife to cut it out.

the little holes were abit hard, could really do with punching out, but then you'd need a set of punches, or fluke it with a hole punch?!?

To punch holes out without a punch, tape your new gasket to its fitted location minus its studs and use a ball bearing ( off an old CV joint for instance) and a small hammer to tap the gasket paper into the hole.
Itll shear off the paper in a perfect circle. :)
