Extremely fast overheating

My golf overheats.new thermostat,new water pump.what can i do?

I believe yours is the big block 1400 in the Citi Golf? If so, you may want to ask the question in the big block engine forum.

Is there an air lock?

i would guess at an air lock for the first port of call.

Thanx alot guys.i got the problem solved.had an airlock and a blocked radiator.
