distributor help!

im in need of a new distrubutor for a 1982 1.1. anyone know where i can source one?or alternatively does the 1.3 models fit or is it slightly different?

The Golf is an old design but part of the appeal is that you can still get loads of parts from major suppliers including VAG. :wink:

fit a saad 99 distributer with a stand alone ignition module from a mk2 carbed golf! its a dead easy conversion and no messing about with points and condensers. i thinks it been covered on here as well as on club polo.

these should tell you what you need to know, tho from what i remember from when i did mine get the plug from the golf dizzy as some are different, but i just changed the plug on the dizzy over
