Distributor for 1.3 - vacuum advance needed, Help?!
basically my distributor is f****d and need a new one, its for a 1.3 engine. anyone know where i can get one or any advice for me?

stock engine? the early 1300s are getting thin on the ground so bits are hard to come by.
You could go electronic ignition and use a kr dizzy with the ignition pack and stuff instead, probably cheaper than buying a reconned points dizzy.

im breaking my mk2 1300 had a new dizzy about 6k miles ago cost me 75 quid yours for £40 plus postage

think the hydro dizzy is different fitment to the solid lifter one unfortunatly. think you need to locate a solid lifter head dizzy, or fit the kr one as above. need the kr spark controller to go with it, ign curve wont be right for a 1.3 but you never know it might work alright

my mk2 had a kr one in when i bought it it wont work couldnt get the ignition timing anywhere near thats why i replaced it.

beardy: yeah you also need to get the kr ecu to go with it, as kr dizzy is fully electronic so no weights or vac unit for ignition advance. all of it is done by the kr ecu see

ive had engine n what not looked at and i think the dizzy is ok, but the vacuum advance is knackerd, the diaphragm is perished, can ya replace these cos i seem to be struggling to find out, its a ducellior dizzy.
