changing from injection to carb

my polo g40 was fuel injected and supercharged standard but im looking at running a carb engine on bike carbs/throttle bodies on a 1.3 carb mk2 golf engine. all i have removed from the g40 is the engine and engine bay wiring loom. everything is as standard g40 would be.

do i need to change anything with the fuel pumps in the tank, what engine bay wiring can i use, just trying to see where to start after i collect the engine thursday

i think you might be better off posting on club polo or polo3 forums as they will have better experience of this. and can i have your g40 if you dont want it!

my g40 engine is no more, the rings keep going. been breaking the engine.

lol, fair enough! i know what you mean about cp! there is some good advice but an awful lot of bollocks spoken!

to be fair this site has always given me good advice, especially with the mk1 driver i had a few years back. i wanna get this polo back on road, sell it for a low price so i can buy either another mk1 golf or another old audi quattro

been advised to use a late mk2 polo engine bay wiring loom
