CAN YOU ANSWER THIS ONE!!

I am currently restoring my mk1 1.3 cl golf and im trying to keep everything original as possible, but i am unsure of what the original rocker gasket was made of?? (rubber or cork??) as vw no longer stock this item. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

its mint i havnt been on here long in the scheme of things but there a great bunch and make ya feel right at home

have you tryed gsf or ebay your get a gasket if you search i'm sure

I think the originals were cork,1.3 CL that model was my Dads first taste of VW which I got for him at a car auction,he had it for about 13 years,get some pics up when you can mate,great little cars
