got a set of bike carbs ON ebay if anyone feels like getting their wallet out !  

what type are they?

I had bike carbs (twin dellortos) on an old MK1 Mini of mine - nice induction/suction noise - cracking engine/car - I miss it!! :cry:

yeah off an R6 should be fun and easy to fit, hopefully just a manifold, facet fuel pump and regulator.

now where can i get a cheep manifold?

i got my manifold from bogg brothers in north yorkshire, was about 180quid i think. they also jetted and tuned the carbs for me too on the rolling rd which is another 70quid.  

if you can figure out how to space the carbs out a bit you could prolly get a manifold made with straight stubbs for less because itl b easier to make.

ah, another convert to the bike carb cult,
when we all get our cars done we will have to meet up for some drag racing! what an awesome sound that would be

matt, those bogg brothers are excellent value! wish i lived nearer to them.
if you know what settings( jet size, needle choice)where used on your carbs could you post them on the forum, they maybe of some use to others.

yeh they sound awsome, alot more powerful cars backdown at the lights cos thr scared of the noise! sorry im not sure whats in mine, didnt thikn it ask, bogg brothers can make u a manifold and post it to u if u want to. also mine will be up for sale soon as im convertin to 1.8 16v on carbs.

hopefully my car will be at inters we could have a battle down the track

i'm planning on being ready for run to the sun, if anyone fancies joining me?  gotta show those aircoolers a thing or two. newquay is only 30min(20 with the new carbs. lol) drive away for me.
