black plugs!!!

hi,
in a recent post i asked for the settings for my engine cos i replaced evri thing so i started up my engine for 5 mins (choke still fully out) then the day after i double checked everything and my brand new plugs are black bright and wet through with what i think is oil. any suggestions as to what the problem may be.

Usual causes of oily plugs are:-

1 - worn valve stem guides or stem seals

2 - worn cylinder bores or piston rings

Are all the plugs oily to the same degree ? if yes this would rule out a head gasket leak (obscure I know).

Do a compression test to help determine whether it may be bores/rings rather than valves/seals.

Also make sure the oil level is correct - i.e. not overfilled !

Make sure it is oil and not petrol soaked carbon/unburt fuel.
