1300 camshaft

Would a camshaft from a 1300, 1991 polo gt (3f) fit in a standard 1300 golf/polo engine ? Golf engine with the steel rocker cover with 8 bolts  (carburettor type)
The issue im concerned with is putting a camshaft from an endlgine with hydraulic tappets into an engine with manual tappets..will the valves clear the pistons etc

It would not fit. The pully fitment and dizzy fitment is different on the GT cam. Im pretty sure it wouldn't even fit in the head either?
