1.3 intake layout same as 1.1 intake layout?

Is the 1.3 intake layout exactly the same as 1.1 intake layout? I'm about to have an custom intake made at Bogg Bros, and they need to know if it's the same.

It depends on the engine code.

As far as I know, but I may be wrong:

FA (1.1) and GS(?) (1.3) are the same.

GG (1.1) and GF (1.3) are the same.

Found out that the intake manifold layout on the VW FA 1.1-liter (Golf mk1) is identical to the VW 3F 1.3-liter engine (Polo 86C). This picture is from a fellow forum member at a Norwegian VW/Audi forum:


And this is what the intake manifold gasket looks like (listed for both engine codes)


Looks pretty similar to me
