1.3 camshaft

which camshaft is best to use in a 1.3 ? the block & gearbox are polo3 & the head & twin choke carb are from a golf2. the fuelpump is on the passenger side of car, not on drivers side like original engine. the cylinder head my be off a 1 litre polo as bore on that engine is same as 1.3

solved the problem. camshaft in it at the moment is wrong……..AAV & golf2 HK engine has compression ratio of 9.5:1…….we have put cylinder head from a HH engine code polo2 this has compression ratio of 8.2:1……..inlet opens on HH for 49 degrees / exhaust for 47 degrees……..on HK golf 2 inlet opens for 41 degrees / exhaust for 44 degrees…….so extra compression getting wasted cos valves open for to long……….do you agree ????
