1.1 to 1.3

hi i have a 1.1 and i'm hoping to buy a 1.3 lump will most parts fit straight to it, just checking before i travel a long journey then find out i've wasted my time but i believe they are near the same?

old 1.3 GF? yes should go straight in.

I am not much of an engine person to be honest.

However can your d one be rebored to 1.3?
I appreciate it's a big job with swapping pistons etc.
But then you would have a good engine for sure as you know what's been done to it.

As opposed to buying an old engine that may require work.

Just a thought.
