Wheels day - aldershot - 10/04/09 Pic Heavy

Went to the wheels day hot rod/custom/street car/bike/ american show today..

Massive shame it rained, bt what a turnout, there must have been over 2000 cars.. definitly one on the list for next year and would be great to have a bunch of mk1's there too..

 We went down in the passat so just general parking for us.. But saw my ols mk1 Eric there, looking proud for himself and wearing soem porsche rims.. lol

Anyway, here's a few pics, was a bit wet to do soem better pics, but enjoy for now..

Highlights of the show - MK2 RS200 shelled drag car, fired up its engine right as wendy was standing in fornt, didnt half make her jump…

Seeing Eric still on the road.. The bus barns matador tempo finally out and about..

Plus loads of hot roads.. top day and very well organised

Great pics!!  Some very nice cars.

Despite the rain I really enjoyed it. Did anyone see my red 5 door cl, parked next to the shortened Mini and the Fiat 126 with the crazy sound-system? I have no pics unfortunately...

I went to this 2 years ago, but didn't realise it was called Wheels!

Was a great show though (sun shone that year) and I will definitely be going next year as long as it shines again .
