Had a great day yesterday!

In my opinion it was a bit crowded in places, I think the club could of done with a bit more space to really show your cars off. Having said that, I have been going for a few years now, and yesterdays turnout was more than usual. I Had a good chat with Rich and Beany, top lads! I parked mine in the show and shine as my local club don't do stands so it was that or nothing. The judge seemed quite pleased with the little Jetta though. The bronze-y beige-y coloured stock Jetta won my class, which was well deserved to say the least, all original and 12500 miles on the clock. Every car on the Mk1 stand looked great, I would of got more pics but I had the dog with me so I had to keep my eye on her. Gutted I missed the Owners club weekend as you're all clearly a great bunch, hope to meet up with more of you soon!

Here's the few pics I got, the camera wasn't out for long.

Aaah, the AFH engined one? I meant to catch you but never got the chance. Love it! I really want to put that engine in the Jetta after having a polo 16v, cant bring myself to take the old engine out yet though.

Cheers. I was chatting with people all day, really friendly and chilled out show !

It's a great engine I think, seems so well suited to the Mk1 ! Looks at home in the bay too ;)
