Had a smahing time today, only sadness was JellyBelly breaking down enroute  :?

Big thanks to everyone who attended and made the stand so welcoming,  Bert's BBQ was another huge success, attracting crowds every time it got fired up….superb cooking by Bert, with Ans4r working the Halal BBQ  8)  8)

CabrioAnna has a talent which has been unnoticed  by the club, until today that is     ……….
Cupcakes!! …………they were superb, look forward to sampling them again at the AGM    

I'm led to believe Keith won his class in the concours, well done Keith  8)  8)

Thanks again everyone , including the lads from Potters VW for assisting in getting us the largest stand we've ever had at Stanford Hall :wink:

that bbq must look strange from behind,i would love to follow it one day

sorry i couldn't make it folks, spent a day changing my tank and fitting new filters and eibach anti roll bars

Still spending most of my free time getting my mk1 running again. Mini triumph today, got the brakes and hydraulic clutch all working - you gotta love an Eezibleed !!!. Tomorrow will see the wiring of the ECU commence. Getting there !!

What a excellent day out…

Been getting the Golf ready for this day for months and wasn't disappointed by the show or the car!!! Drove down from Nottingham with me, the wife and three kids. Car went really well and ther kids loved the show. Its the first v dub show we've been to since having the kids over 12 years ago. Unfortunately in all the excitement we forgot to take any pics.

The stand was very well turned out with some excellent motors on display. So much so that my wife is now in the process of purchasing her own mk1 golf to add to our collection. She's decided on a cabbie so look forward to seeing a new member and some pics up soon.

Put it this way i had one last year, mot'd it, drove it once then sold it. Tintop all the way from now on.

I had such a great day and met some wonderful people xxx would definatly do it again.
We have such a wonderful club with friendly people, Thank you.

Great Pics, would of love to have been there but the Sportline has still got some niggley running issues, thanks to Mr Sun for coming out and making the day look a superb day.

Nice to see this engine for real and meet the man behind it, hell of a nice bloke too!!
