rtts RIP, plym volksfest rocks!

well i thought i would give rtts one last chance this year as it is only up the road from me. boy that was a mistake! within 5 mins of arriving i had the organizer in my face, apparently id parked in the wrong place, when i explained that i was directed there from the gate he basically called me a liar!!!
the s+s was half empty, bugger all trade stands turned up, the mk1s that turned up where fantastic though.
so within 30 mins i binned it and headed to plymouth. WOW, what a party, brilliant weather, great cars, fantastic atmosphere, beer, music, and most importantly lots of people who are really into their dubs!
nice one volksfest i shall be back next year for the weekend!

indeed mate, newquay just gets invaded by chavs on rtts weekend. we went to plymouth vw fest last year (its first year) and had a great time. didnt make it there this year as we had to travel up country to visit family. will be there next year though  8)

got any pics? last year there were some nice mk1s and some very tasty caddys.

i went down for the afternoon with my old man, (not the best idea as he don't drink and bugs me non stop with crap ideas!!!) but was impressed by the turn out and heard from mates the partying was exceptional.

i will hopefully be debuting my mk1 1.8 turbo cabby there next year and will be trying to get a few more golfs there too, seemed a good turn out from the VR6oc but not much else.
