great day out, weather held off nicely. Good to see the usual faces there.

Well chuffed to pick up best mk1, best interior, people's choice best of show, and best of show.

Had an eventful trip back… the sump plug FELL OUT off the sump that I'd only fitted yesterday…. not sure who;s fault it was… :unsure: :blink:   Anyway, 80mph plus oil plus exhaust equalled an F1 style plumes of smoke down the motorway.  The helpful RAC dude had a spare sump plug, filled me up with oil and I was on my way home  No wonder I didn't win most reliable VW today  haha

Nice to see how you missed out all the Mark 1 Cabrios in the show. Tis a shame as this is a MK1 website, and of course we won a prize as well.
