Deutsch Connection Show - DC09

Just got back from this show.

Good turn out of cars.
Good venue.
Good weather.
Good Plane crash 8O

We did have a club stand but no banners or anything to say who we were which was a shame but my remaining calling cards were all taken off my car.

Nobody hurt in this I think. Looks like it just tipped over at the end of the runway :?  8O
Unlike the glider that crashed in the next field to my workshop yesterday killing the pilot instantly   …..Hmm don't they come in three's events like these :?

Anyway good to meet all on the stand.

beast - you better get your son some replacement headlamps :wink:

oohhhh I saw all the mk1s but didnt put 2 and 2 together    I was hiding away on the Dubclique stand wth mine…not running right again! as its eaten the exhaust manifold gaskets once more  

Ill get my pics up in a bit didnt take many but got some of the ace A6 running a B8 A4 front end! that was some serious work on that and looked mint!

Spotted my mk1.

Mars Red one on nomads stand. YPK on the plate.

The black one on your stand was immaculate!!

Cheers Daz and no I'm not planning on flying anytime soon :? - Well I have to go to Italy the Monday after the AGM  :?

Hope you all had a cracking day, we really did try our best to keep everyone as happy as we could and the few small negatives we have had back so far were lack of bins, food stalls shortage and toilet problems and reckon for our first year thats not too bad going and all stuff that can be easily rectified for next year.

Thanks to all that turned up on the club stand its very appreciated that you all made the effort and was nice to get a chance to chat to you guys while i was judging. 8)  8)

The only one I didn't see was x5pea's blue one - I did see the DC stand though, and k33ts' car (very nice indeed)…

Will stick some pics up later

I used to suffer this on another golf I owned until I went back to OEM exhaust manifold gaskets. Just a thought.

already been to the dealers and got them and the manifolds off already too

Lovely car!

Cheers Ross Very kind, took home best beetle which was a treat because I was going to put it in the car park..

I had an awesome day, great weather, nice sunburn, good cars, and yeah, a plane crash.
Big thanks to the organisers, can't wait until next years!
