wobbly gear stick... oooh errrrr

haha yeh my gear stick is super wobbly, a mate of mine said i need to tighten the gear linkages? is this an easy job?

There's a how to guide in the technical section Click on "Gear Linkage" on the left of your screen under the technical heading.

Pretty simple job although a bit messy, took me about an hour and a half to do it, getting hold of a new relay lever was a bit of a pain though.

If I can do it…. you WILL be able to!!!

Its messy and probably best with a lift if you can get access to one.

I got my bits from GSF, the BIG pack.

I don't know if they still do them though.

Lesbrey or lesbray (cant remember spelling) does a full kit on ebay which is one I used.  Our sponsors on the left also seem to be doing reasonable packages.

The guide by JSeaman has been well used so go for it.  Took me half a day as I forgot to make a mark on the spline part of the rod.  This meant I couldn't line it up right and had to reposition it until it sat right.  Dont worry though it was me not reading correctly and not the instructions.  Besides we're all here to try and help if you get stuck  :wink:
