which clutch kit to buy?

Hi, I've searched this forum but couldn't find clear answer.

I have 1976 1600c carby 4speed manual golf ls

which clutch should I buy? 190mm? 200mm? 210mm?

and I am looking at http://www.vwheritage.com/

and they have sach and black diamond one.

please advise me the best.

not runnign a factory engine so it could be anything! you need to take box off and have a look unfortunately. you could just buy a flywheel to match the clutch you want though

it has a factory engine. built and sold in australia one.

ah well you're going to struggle to find firm information on here then most of us are uk based! i say its going to be a 190mm based on what we got in the later mk1/mk2 carby 1.6 but being so early it might be a slightly different clutch.

as i say though, if you change the flywheel to match you can fit whatever clutch you like
