Where's the Gearbox Number?

Underneath on the edge of the bell housing closest to the engine

Cheers, mine's sounding a 'bit' ropey at the mo.

Been trying to think of what to do to sort it.  :dontknow:

 I maybe posting in the 'wanted' soon although not sure how I'd fit the beast!

I've got a selection of 5 speed boxes.  Main difference is gearing and the reverse light switch - 9A has the big bleck switch and others have a small two connector reversing light switch.

Ideally you want a box to suit the reverse light switch.

Whatever box you fit make sure you replace the clutch rod seal and bush in the end of the 1st motion shaft.  Consider replacing the clutch while you have the box out - or at least check it when the box is out.
