Wheel spacer

I was thinking of adding wheel spacers to the rear drums to help fill out the arches. Would it be dangerous adding spacers?

Hi,
Depends on wheels / bolts used really (ie, how much thread goes into drum). I'm using 3mm spacers on the front of my Caddy (BBS RD alloys and std. bolts) and have no problems. Had to use them as the wheels are ET40 and just skimmed the strut on the n/s (!). 3mm hardly anything though ………..
Cheers,
Mark

Avoid the ones without the built in spigot and make sure the spigot fits vw centre bore, which is 57.1mm.

Otherwise your wheels are hanging off the bolts only, not good.
