2nd problem is removing the old wheels as I don't have the locking key for the nuts ahhhh!!!! :banghead:  :banghead:

Cant help with the colour choice but removing the locking nuts :)

Its best to use a couple of sockets that you dont mind sacrificing.
Multi point is best, the increased surface area will help "grip"
Depending on what type and size of locking nut you have choose a socket that is just too small to fit over the head of the bolt then give it heavy hits with a club hammer or similar, just dont miss!

If you hit it square no more than half a dozen clumps will see the socket pushed firmly into place, and provided your a good shot you can then use a breaker bar and remove. If your not a good shot then you will mangle the 1/2 " drive and not be able to fit the breaker bar to the socket, so you will need to use a set of stilsons to hold the socket instead, this will get quite messy!

Alternatively I have used a blunt chisel to remove locking nuts before but you will need to be ultra careful or the chisel will eat into the side of the wheels.

Considerable force will be required but it can be done :)

Slower alternatives involve drilling out the head etc but Ive never had to do it, and the drills will need to be top quality otherwise they wont make a dent in the locking nut.
good luck :)
