wheel bearings and outer cv joints

Hey all,

I was about to buy some wheel bearings both front and rear and also some outer cv joints until I saw that they are for post 06/77 built cars… My car is 04/77 so what do I do? I have not found any for earlier models…   :dontknow:

Wgere were you buying them from?  Is there any info on the web?… not sure many people would know on here but hopefully someone will come forward.  If not then maybe ask a VW branch to find out for you?  Sorry it's not an instant answer but didn't want you sitting there thinking no one is listening  :wink:
