What Coilovers should I buy?
Any suggestions for an alternative?
Or anybody got a second hand set of coilovers?
I used to own a mk1 - well I've had 2 actually - YDU 720X & SMU 420Y. Currently I drive an 98 Scotia White Mitsubishi Evolution V RS…. fancy getting another mk1 someday

My only other experience of suspension an a mk1 was boge 30mm lowering springs and uprated shocks and i can say the fk's are 10 times better, theydon't crash over bumpr like the boges did and the ride and handling is good.
Thankgod - I thought it was just me when I had boge and springs that it crahsed on every little thing on the road. Spax heoght adjustables on the car for the mo' and they are pretty good, firm ridebut without being being crashy (if there is such a word as crashy!!)
