What Clutch??????

Hi All,
       Clutch went yesterday,on our beloved golf cabby mark1,1800 gti,88 on an E reg,does anyone know which one fits,i have been on gsf,its all a bit conusing,says up to 83,i take it this refers to the tintop?part numbers and recommended suppliers if poss.

ring them up and tell them its a mk1 cabby on a 88 plate they will know which one :wink:

Pretty sure they're all 210mm with 22mm input shaft - ie the most common Mk1/Mk2 GTI clutch. Theres 200mm (some GTIs have these) and 190mm too, for the lower models. And the 16V had a 210mm clutch + 24mm input shaft on the friction plate.
