Uneven Tyre Wear

Just had the car up and noticed the right hand side tyre has really bad wear on the inside of the tyre but is alright over the rest of it.

Anyway looked in the haynes and am tempted to just adjust the wheel alignment slightly inwards. Can this be done alright or am I likely to make the whole thing worse. Obviously only going to do a slight amount.

Dare say I'll need a new tyre before the MOT in JAn, so will get tracking done right then, but is it alright to just alter it myself in the meantime.

Any suggestions would be grateful.

You can adjust it yourself, but it will be difficult to get it spot on. I would take it in and just get the wheels aligned, you'll get more miles out of the tyre   then if it's something else (worn steering knukle, suspension etc) you won't ruin a new tyre  :wink:
