Tyre advice

It's time for four new tyres for my Scirocco, so I've been looking around for good deals. With only 90BHP on tap I don't need anything spectacular but I don't like no-name budget tyres.

I was considering Firestone TZ200s, Avon ZV3s Toyo CF1s or Pirelli P6000s, all available for around the same price (?45 per corner, 185/60R14H).

They all seem to get good writeups, but I'd be interested to hear from the Mk1 community on the subject.

Cheers

Chris

If you want a very good tyre for budget money choose Hankook. Used these on my Mk1 Fiesta and were superb.

Had a very good report in The Which Report not so long ago too. Up the top with the more well known brands such as michelin and pirrelli.
