Suspension Question

Hi i was just wondering while sat here at work, would any GTI shocks and springs fit and preform on a 1.5 1979 tin top?

Quick answer, yes, as long as they are for a mk1.

may sit slightly higher than a gti as it wont be quite so heavy, but difference prob not really noticable
