Suspension advice needed
Hi Guys,
I have bought a pair of front shock top mounts and a set of coil overs off ebay. Are there any other parts that need replacing while doing this and if so can you guys point me in the right direction.
Thanks in advance Robin

When I changed mine to coilovers the rear rubber bushes were all shot. Items 2 and 4 CLICK HERE
Apart from that unless you snap a bolt you should have all you need.

Hi I have finally managed to get round to doing the coilovers I had to cut one of the bottom bolts out on the rear shocks. I'm now thinking I'll buy brand new bolts 2 for the rear and 4 for the front..Could you please tell me as I haven't had the fronts off yet if the bolts are the same allround or dimensions of them? I don't have one with me but a guy in the vehicle section at my work says there could well be the right ones here

Def replace the bolts allround if you can afford it.
The fronts are 2 bolts, one is standard nut/bolt, others are camber bolts, depending on which suspension you bought, you may have some in the box.
You may also find once you have the shocks on, the ride is harsher, worth cheching cndition of rear beam mounting bushes and wishbone bushes, if these are shot then you may find a bit of crashing over bumps….

Projekt Frustration :
White 1991 Clipper. Lowered over polished zender rims, Single 40 dellorto on lynx manifold, kent cam, full stainless 'zorst / manifold, powerflex bushed and braced. Not the fastest car, but sounds super nice!
Still going after 12 years… never said it was a quick fix! Time is not my friend.
