Strut braces

Who does a good quality upper front and rear strut brace and lower front strut brace

as I'm not keen on the Ebay items unless somebody has tried and tested them

had to make on e as my mk1 is a 1.3 and a gti one wont fit, gearbox and exaust issues

Awesome Gti store do the Neuspeed ones, very good quality and fit

Great lower strut on Ebay. Much better than the OMP single type .

Dont think he does lower one's but Im sure he could Ive got upper front and rear off him

got any pictures as I'm after nice shiny shiny upper and may be lower but can decide if i want the lower shiny shiny yet.


I was goingt o start a thread on "show me ya strut brace" but that would just waste a thread i think

Ive got some nice polished stainless steel upper front and rears, if you want any just let me know.

Remember seeing a nice lower one some time ago on the forum. Looked like stainless or polished steel, about ?80 from some tuning company. They had a website, but can't find the link - anyone know :dontknow: not keen on the red painted stuff.

I used to make lower stainless steel ones and I could possibly make some more but I would ideally need you car for a couple of hours to make them to suit as there can be small differences between each car

Made a ss one for mine and while its nothing to look at after 10 years under the car its got no rust.

i want a lower one for fine, but im tempetd to make my own unless anyone can do them for a good price. dont supose anyone had any dimensions to make one?

Unfortunately Karl I never took any of the lower ones but they were made from 50mm X 10mm box section S/S and they bolt to the chassis legs where the wishbone bolt goes.

glad i read this, OMP Are doing a triple deal at themin and i was just aboutto make a purchase. guess i will just get the upperfront and rear for now and have a front lower one made
