Steering wheel off-centre after alloy change

Bit of a strange one. Replaced the alloys on my Clipper and now the steering wheel is off-centre (to the left) when the wheels are straight.

How can that happen when just replacing the wheels though? Only solution to remove the steering wheel and re-centre it again?

are the wheels a lot bigger than the old ones? check the steering rack mounts, ive welded a few back on as there only spot welded on,when using large alloys it puts pressure on the rack mounts

The new ones are 15" instead of the old standard Clipper ones (think 13" for standard? ).

I noticed this issue the moment I changed the wheels so would be surprised if it damaged something straight away?

Yes, all is correct and checked.

The car is not wandering about though, just when the car is parked (and driven) with the wheels straight, the steering wheel is a bit off-centre to the left. In other words, if you put the steering wheel straight, the car will be going off to the right.

can probably be explained by a difference in tyre pressures each side, either before or after.

Interesting. If both old wheels had the same pressure as the new ones, how can the steering wheel be different in the turn position?

If I put the steering wheel in the "neutral" position, the wheels are now (slightly) pointing to the right. Not sure how tyre pressures can change that.
