steering rack

hi all,hope you all had a good christmas,need alittle help…..overhalling an old steering rack,on a late mk1 converable,the only techincal info/measurments i can find a for a tintop or mk2 niether rack is the same as mine? i need the measurements from the rack caseing to the start of the tie rod and from one end of the tie rod to the middle of the track rod end.this is shown very well in the haynes manual but not for my rack.can any one help
