Steering rack mount advice/ recommendation

Hi Guys,

I noticed when I originally bought my cabby that there was some play in the steering.
On further inspection and with the help of a friend I found out that the steering rack is moving from side to side in the mounting bushes! Any suggestions on where to get new bushes from or which types to go for?
I have had a look at GSF ones but they look cheap and nasty and looked at the Powerflex ones which look a lot more robust.

Any ideas would be a great help.Cheers as always.

I`ve just recently had the same issue…turned out that the o/s bulkhead mount had slightly detached itself from the bulkhead and was moving with the rack,therefore pulling/pushing the rack throught the bush on the other side..seems a bit of a common problem…just check them first before you dive in and buy bushes..oh,and I fitted new rubbers anyway,got them from AVS vw spares.or there are a few places listed on here (down the left hand side)
