Steering Rack Issue

Hi Guys,

Ive got an issue with the steering on my mk1.

Turning in hard into a corner the steering slips occasionally.  Ive just replaced the steering rack with a new standard version and it still seems to occur.

Ive got a 20vt engine and sticky R888 tires fitted and also FK coilovers with solid top mounts.  Ive checked the steering wheel and thats not slipping.

Has anyone got any ideas what the issue might be?

Can anyone recommend an uprated rack?
