steering rack flexing at mountings

Hi there, a friend of mine has a 1989 cabrio, which passed it's MOT but with these two advisories.

Nearside Front Macpherson strut has slight movement at the upper attachment (2.5.A.1c)

Steering rack flexing on mountings

she is wondering how much it will cost to fix. anyone any ideas

New top mounts, ?25 for the pair + fitting. The rack mounts could need welding back to the bulkhead. Not hard, but can be a bit time consuming.
