Steering Box Output Rods to Track Rod Ends

Hi

After having my cam belt / aux belt and water pump changed. The garage advised me that my steering box output rods to the track rod ends have a lot of play in them. I have known that there is too much feedback with the steering of late.

I have looked at on line suppliers and am a little confused. Are these rods the same for each side in design prior to connection to the track rod ends ?

Dont know about "prior to connection"  but the passenger side tre is fixed to the shaft, any adjustment (tracking) is done on the drivers side where the tre is removable.

A lot of the aftermarket track rods are adjustable both sides if you're replacing the whole track rod & end.
