steering boss

hi i bought a boss and just tried to fit it, and its to big can anyone tell me if they changed sizes and what year as i need to order another 1 my car is a 1987 cab, and is about a cm to small for the boss thanks again for answering another of my questions!! how i coped without the internet?????

not sure on cabs but there are different sized splines I had to swap the steering column on mine to save getting a different boss
