Squeak on Acceleration - Gearbox mount?

Howdy folks, been driving around with an irritating squeak for ages now, I've always suspected the engine mounts but they all look pretty solid. I can give the engine a good shove to replicate the squeak but there is very little movement.
Whilst squirming around under the car this morning I noticed the rear gearbox mount looks fairly knackered. Do you think it could be the problem?
I've searched around and they seem pretty cheap, is it an easy job? Just yank out the old one and put in the new one or will I need to adjust anything else? :dontknow:

bought one today from gsf,cost 9 quid
also got a front crossmember mount aswell

fitting mine at 5am in the morning(working)

I have got them in the garage, am just lazy. Are they the big square block (rear) and the circular one (front).

i,ve had enough of mine thats why i,m doing them asap
sometimes struggling to get 1st gear so it must be pretty bad!

mine are now done

took me about a hour to do both,it pretty easy
gearbox mount was actually snapped in half! 8O

the car now feels so much better

No worries, the VW part for the rear is 171399151A. I'll ask at GSf on Monday.
