Spring type?

Hi, I'm readying the golf for it's MOT so on went the steelies with the good tyres and whilst the wheel was off I grabbed a pic of the springs to see if anyone can identify the manufacturer (long shot I know) as they were fitted when I bought it.





The only markings visible are VW4400 Rear & VW 4400 Front.

Answers on a postcard, sadly no prizes for guessing correctly, just the smug warm feeling of being right!

A quick google search gives this website. Looks like Ventura. Never heard of them!

That'll explain why they have Bilsteins shocks with them, apparently Ventura used to be the recomended spring to go with their shocks.
Thanks for finding them, I did plenty of googling too but nowt popped up.
